Le tourisme de pêche repart
Fishing tourism, experiences that bring travelers closer to the work of fishermen, is expanding in Spain with more reservations and more offers than in 2019. As explained by Pepe Martínez, director of the digital reservation platform Fishingtrip, "the fishing tourism activity has a great acceptance in the segment of family tourism, to the point that 72.5% of the excursions this year correspond to this type of tourist". The digital platform Fishingtrip has registered a notable increase in excursion reservations compared to 2021 and an increase of 20% compared to those registered in the summer of 2019, the last year before the pandemic.
La Fondation Intermundial décerne le prix du Tourisme Responsable à Pescaturismo
Meliá Hotels International, Air Europa, y la plataforma tecnológica Pescaturismo fueron los ganadores de la primera edición del Premio de Turismo Responsable. Asimismo, Cataluña recibió una mención especial en el apartado de destinos. La Fundación InterMundial, impulsora de esta iniciativa con Fitur y el Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH), entregó ayer los galardones en el marco de la feria. Pescaturismo constituye un proyecto con gran componente educativo y de respeto al medioambiente, según el jurado.
